Letter to the family

Dear future host family,

First let me introduce myself. My name is Kasia and I am 22 years old. I live in Warsaw, a city where I develop my passions, I attend sports classes, I go to the cinema and concerts. I am studying oriental philology at the University of Warsaw, and in the upcoming time I would like to try my hand as an Au Pair. When I decide to work as an Au Pair, I hope to gain new experience, to improve the languages I know and to experience an unforgettable adventure. In addition, it is a great opportunity to meet many interesting people, and while staying with my family and helping to raise their children, I gain valuable advice for the future, which will help me when I decide to start a family myself.
I am a responsible, honest, trustworthy, reasonable and patient person who likes to spend time with children. My friends and family know that they can always count on me. I can respect the time, space and rules prevailing in the host family's home. I am an open person who likes to meet new people, countries and cultures, as well as make new friends. I am a positive person with a large distance to myself, and the smile does not leave my face.
It would be really wonderful if you would accept me as a member of your family.

Experience

I started my adventure as a babysitter when I started to look after the children of my neighbor and my cousins. I did it mainly during the summer and winter holidays. I was dealing with children between the ages of 2 and 10, that is, with pre-school and early-school children. I helped them in housework, prepared simple meals, read books, put them to sleep. I organized for them and took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities : we drew, painted, played various games, went for walks, to the library or to the zoo.

Why would I want to become an Au Pair abroad?
I think that the Au Pair program would be the best solution for me at the moment, because I could combine both the passion of discovering new places with work, which gives me a lot of joy, that is taking care of children.
