My Experience as a Caregiver for the Elderly & Home Share with the Elderly:
I am currently working as a Caregiver/Personal Support Worker in a Retirement Home, where I provide compassionate care to elderly residents. My role involves assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility support, and meal preparation. I also provide emotional support, companionship, and engage residents in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.

In my experience, I have learned the importance of patience, empathy, and attentiveness when caring for seniors. I have worked with individuals with varying levels of independence, including those with dementia, mobility challenges, and other health conditions. My goal is always to ensure their safety, comfort, and overall well-being while maintaining their dignity and independence as much as possible.

Why I Would Like to Become a Caregiver for the Elderly & Home Share with the Elderly Abroad:
Caring for the elderly is my passion, and I would love the opportunity to extend my skills and experience internationally. I believe that home-sharing with an elderly person provides a unique opportunity to build a deeper connection with those I care for, offering both companionship and practical support in a home-like setting. This arrangement allows for more personalized and continuous care, which can greatly improve the quality of life for seniors.

Working abroad as a caregiver would also allow me to gain new experiences, learn from different healthcare systems, and contribute my expertise in elderly care. I am eager to immerse myself in a new environment, adapt to different caregiving approaches, and continue growing both personally and professionally in this field.
