Nice to meet you!
My name is Samantha and I am looking to be an au pair for a second time as I enjoyed it so much. I have been an au pair before, so can provide character references upon request.
I have a degree in languages with a minor in teaching English as a second language. I speak native English and fluent Japanese. I have lived abroad many times and enjoy new experiences. I enjoy au pairing as it really makes me feel part of another family.
I love music, sports, food and art. I have a black belt in aikido and also teach self defense to children. I run a girl guide unit so I have the most experience with children 9-13 but I also have experience with young babies and ages 3-6 from previous work.
My goal in au pairing is to gain another set of siblings/ be an auntie to. I want to learn languages to study a masters in intercultural communication. I have a postgraduate certificate in the area currently and I want more life experience before I become a professor.

I have been an au pair before when I graduated from high school. It was only for a short time as I went on to study my degree in languages, linguistics and teaching English as a second language.
I currently run a girl guide unit (girl scouts) which is 15 girls aged 9-13 which I run weekly. Part of that is coming up with fun and educational activities that the girls will enjoy as well as learn something. We cover a range of topics.
I have been a kids teacher for martial arts (aikido) for children aged 3-6 while I was working in Japan.
I have also had experience with a baby as I stayed with my sister when she had my nephew to help out.
I love doing activities with children and watching them learn how the world works.
