I am currently Au pairing in IRELAND, and my contract ends mid JULY if had said June. Im specifically looking for a job in the UK somewhere, as I plan to work a longer job (around 4 months) and I can in the uk! I am looking for a job around then, so if you are looking for a Au pair sooner, I would definitely not waste any time on mine and go look at the other amazing Au pairs on here!!

My name is Afton, and I would love the opportunity to be your au pair! I have over 350 hours of experience in both child care and housekeeping, and I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment for children. I’m reliable, adaptable, and currently on track to get CPR certified. My love for travel and cultural exchange motivates me to bring enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to your family. Experience

Becoming an au pair has always been a dream of mine because it brings together my love for kids, my passion for travel, and my desire to learn about new cultures. I’ve always enjoyed working with children—seeing them grow, discover the world, and develop their own personalities is so rewarding. Also for me to be able to grow in a new culture and lifestyle! Learning new languages has always been a intrest of mine :)

I’m 18 years old, from the U.S., single with no kids, and at a point in my life where I’m ready to fully commit to this experience and build meaningful relationships with a host family. I’m also working on getting my CPR certification (along with other first aid training) so I can be prepared for anything and give peace of mind to the family I work with. My love for travel and my interest in learning about different cultures makes me really excited about the idea of living with a family from another part of the world. I’m also eager to learn more about the country around me and to be a part of children’s development as they grow.

Outside of being an au pair, I’ve had a wide range of experiences that have shaped my skills and understanding of working with people. I’ve worked with multiple families, serving as both a housekeeper and a nanny, and have over 350 hours of experience in child care and housekeeping. I’ve also worked with special needs children and adults, which has deepened my empathy, patience, and understanding of diverse needs. Additionally, I’ve volunteered at summer camps, where I had the opportunity to work with kids in a fun and dynamic environment.

I’ve also participated in mission trips both abroad and in my home country, serving schools and small communities, which allowed me to connect with children from different cultures and backgrounds. These experiences have helped me develop strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, and I’m eager to bring all of these to my role as an au pair.

I want to be an au pair not just to take care of kids, but to be a positive, reliable presence in their lives and to learn from the family I stay with. I see this as a chance to help others and grow myself, and I can’t wait to whre this takes me!
