My name is Olivia and I am excited to express my interest in becoming an au pair! I have always been passionate about working with children, and I believe this experience would be a wonderful opportunity for me to both share my skills and learn from your unique family culture.

In the U.S., I have worked as both a preschool teacher and a nanny, experiences that have allowed me to develop a strong foundation in child development, care, and education. As a preschool teacher, I created engaging and educational activities for young children, helping them to grow emotionally, socially, and academically. I believe in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can feel safe to explore, ask questions, and learn. Experience

As a nanny, I’ve had the privilege of working with two different families, each with unique experiences that have shaped my passion for childcare. For one year, I cared for a vibrant 5-year-old, where my role was to create a structured yet fun environment that encouraged both learning and play. I developed routines that balanced educational activities—like reading, arts and crafts, and problem-solving games—with outdoor activities, ensuring the child remained active and engaged. This experience honed my skills in nurturing creativity, patience, and communication, while also learning how to manage the needs of a young child in a busy household.

In my subsequent role as a nanny to an infant, I provided care focused on the foundational stages of growth, from feeding and diapering to developing early communication skills and fostering a secure attachment. My days involved following feeding schedules, soothing techniques, and ensuring a safe, loving environment for naps and play. I also worked closely with the parents to support their goals for the baby’s development, all while adapting to the ever-changing needs of an infant.

These experiences, both with toddlers and infants, have deepened my love for childcare, and now I’m eager to broaden my horizons by becoming an au pair abroad.
