Dear Host Family,

My name is Daniella, and I am a 22-year-old pre-medical student currently living in Australia. I was born and raised in the Philippines, and I work part-time as a support worker while studying. I’m responsible, patient, and naturally nurturing—qualities that help me connect well with children and families.

I want to become an Au Pair because I truly enjoy being around children and helping them learn and grow. I also see this as a beautiful opportunity to experience a new culture, meet new people, and expand my worldview while contributing to your family’s daily life. I believe that being an Au Pair is not just about childcare—it’s about building a meaningful connection with your family and becoming part of your home.

You should consider hosting me because I am caring, flexible, and respectful. Coming from the Philippines, I’ve been raised with strong family values and a hardworking attitude. Experience

Although I have not officially worked as an Au Pair before, I have extensive experience caring for children and supporting others through my role as a support worker over the past two years. This role has given me the opportunity to assist individuals of different ages, help with daily routines, and provide emotional and practical support—skills that easily translate to the responsibilities of an Au Pair. I’ve also helped care for younger relatives back home in the Philippines, which taught me how to be patient, responsible, and nurturing.

I would love to become an Au Pair abroad because it offers a meaningful way to experience another culture while doing something I’m passionate about—caring for children. Being part of a host family and building a genuine connection while learning their language, traditions, and daily life is something I find very exciting. I also see this as an opportunity to grow personally, step outside my comfort zone, and represent the warmth and hospitality of Filipino culture abroad.
