Letter to the family

Hello! My name is Lilli and I am 18 years old. I have lived in Vienna since I was little and went to school here until June 2020, when I passed the final. Since November 2020, I have been doing a voluntary social year in the field of disability, which I enjoy very much. I grew up in a large family with 2 smaller brothers and many cousins (and a dog). As the oldest child, I have already had a lot of experience in different areas of childcare, be it changing the diapers, helping with the homework or playing outdoors. I like to work with children and I plan to work with children in my future life. I would be happy to work with you and your children and support you during this time.

Experience

Because I am the oldest in my family I have already babysat a lot of kids. I often watch children from my family of various ages. While I can easily play dolls with my young cousin I can also go play soccer with my little brother (although I would not say I am really good at it... but hey the thought counts). Of course I am also available for the dirty work such as washing clothes, changing diapers or cleaning noses. The age range of the kids I have already looked for goes from 6 months to 15 years. Since I am small I have always been very social and good with people. My work in an institution for people with disabilities has made me realise that even more. I just love to help people who can not take care of themselves and help them become the best version of themselves. I want to be an AuPair to, on the one side, get to know my host-country and its diverse landscape, culture and people. On the other side I would love to become a part of your family and help you with daily tasks and get to know you and your children personally.
