Hello Future Host Family

My name is Yoama , I am Venezuelan and I am 22 years old, currently living in Uruguay (Montevideo). I consider myself to be an honest person that always gives my best, I love to look for new experiences and adventures where I can learn something new and at the same time give something back, this is the reason why I want to become an Au Pair. Being an Au Pair gives me the chance to be part of a local family, being one of the best ways to learn a new culture, a new language and a new way to see the world. I really like to experience different ways of life, such as being a volunteer outdoor instructor last year (2020) in the United Kingdom in a Scout Centre. I would like you to know that I have the motivation, commitment, love and patience to learn new things as well as improving my skills and help you as much as I can.

Experience

My experience has been about taking care of my cousins and one little neighbour when he was months old for a few weeks. It isn’t a big experience, but I want to develop those skills as an Au Pair. For me the idea of being Au Pair means to become a big sister, taking care of the children with love, teach them as much as I can and have fun with them. I would like to be an Au Pair because this gives me the opportunity to live and coexist with a local family which is a great way for cultural exchange.
