Emma (20 / Ms. ), English, Psychologist living in USA looking for Au Pair job in Australia & Canada for 2-3 Months

Hi families! I am Emma. I’m from Winston-Salem, North Carolina in the United States. I love being outside and I am always excited to do any sort of outdoor activity. I also love different kinds of cultures. I love the idea of living in another country and emerging myself into its culture. I enjoy trying new foods and learning new things.
I want to be au pair because first of all I love children. I am in college right now with plans to be a children’s psychiatrist. I believe heavily in the importance of a child’s developmental years and how impressionable they can be. It is important to give a kids activities that stimulate their mind and that is also fun.
I would love to have a host family that wants me to be a part of the family. I want to create a connection with the children as well as good communication with the parents. It’s important that we are all a team working towards the same goal. I just want to create the best environment full of happiness and love.
My qualifications for this position is nannying I have done throughout the years. I have been babysitting for around 4 years. I will obviously admit I have never been a live in nanny. I did have an experience over last summer where for 3 months I was nannying from 7 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday. I had to drive everyday to either activities we wanted to do or extra curricular activities. I prepared breakfast and lunch. I also assisted in cleaning around the house such as laundry and dishes. This experience has made me feel so qualified to be an au pair.
