Letter to the family

Hello, I'm Emma, 18 years old, I'm from Germany and I'm about to graduate from high school. I live with my parents, my three little siblings and our pets in a small village near the Baltic Sea. A new phase in my life will begin soon and I would like to start it with an au pair stay. Since I have experience in child care and in general household things like cooking, I think I can be a good support.
I am also very open, helpful, loving and nice and I like to get to know new things, be it new people or the culture of a country.

Experience

I have younger siblings, which I have often looked after. I regularly do things with them, sometimes just me and one more, like going for a walk, baking, painting or other things where I can involve them in exactly what is happening. I like to teach them new things as well and generally spend time with them.
This is exactly the kind of thing I would look forward to do during my stay. I am also looking forward to get to know new things and customs of the respective family and to integrate into this life. Above all, the language and culture are very important to me, as well as experiences and insights into different areas of life in my au pair country.
