This is the first time I have encountered something like Au Pair, which I found out about relatively recently. I decided that it is a great opportunity to go abroad to Spain - a country I have always wanted to go to - as a person who will take responsibility for the children of the host family, but also have accommodation and food provided. As a young person who likes to take care of children, but does not have a permanent job yet and the prospect of going abroad, everything provided by the host family, I think is fantastic! For a few years now I have been earning extra money by taking care of my family friends' children, including twins with special needs, so it was a challenge, but it definitely taught me patience and understanding.
