1. Who are you?

My name is Rosselin, I am 20 years old, and I am a second-year student at the Faculty of Legal Sciences at a university in El Salvador. I consider myself responsible, kind, and patient. Currently, I take online classes, which allows me to organize my schedule to dedicate time to childcare.

2. Why do you want to be an Au Pair and Nanny?

I love working with children and supporting them in their growth by providing a safe and fun environment. Additionally, this experience will allow me to learn about a new culture, improve my language skills, and share my own culture with the host family by teaching them Spanish and introducing them to traditions from my country.

3. Why should the family choose you?

I have experience in childcare, including working with children with special needs. I have cared for a non-verbal autistic child, a one-year-old baby, and a seven-year-old girl. I have also volunteered in churches and children’s shelters, which has strengthened my love and commitment to children's well-being. I am patient, responsible, and caring, always willing to support both the children and the family.

4. Why do you qualify for the position?

My experience has allowed me to develop skills in childcare, from meeting their basic needs to organizing educational and recreational activities. I strive to be someone children can trust, not just their caregiver. Additionally, I love animals and can help take care of pets if the host family has them.

Experience

My Experience as a Nanny

I started taking care of children when I was 17 years old. My first experience was with a 7-year-old girl, whom I cared for a year and a half. Later, I looked after a 5-year-old boy with autism and speech difficulties for three months, and then I worked for six months with a 1-year-old boy.

My responsibilities included caring for them, playing, helping with schoolwork, supervising their meals, and organizing recreational activities. I also took the children to the park and planned outings with their parents' permission. With the autistic child, I learned to communicate using sign language and supported his development with love and patience.

I enjoy motivating children with small details, such as baking treats or celebrating their achievements. I always strive to be more than just a nanny—someone they can trust.

Why Do I Want to Be an Au Pair & Nanny Abroad?

I would love to be an Au Pair because I love working with children and want to learn about a new culture. I am excited to improve my language skills, share my culture, and teach them Spanish.
