Hi! My name is Naia, I’m 17 years old and I'm from the Basque Country, Spain.
I'm really excited about the prospect of becoming an au pair or a tutor abroad because I think it's a really good way to learn about new cultures and languages, which I'm very passionate about.
My parents are both from the Basque Country, so I speak fluent Spanish and Basque. I also have a C1 level in English and I recently started learning French.
I really enjoy being around children, playing with them, taking care of them, teaching them and helping them with their homework. My experience taking care of kids comes mostly from my family, since I often take care of my two little cousins. I also have a little sister, so I’m used to being around children.
I’m responsible, patient, and empathetic. I’m also organized and creative, and I’d be happy to help with household tasks and share my culture and language with your family.
I really like to read, it's my main passion along with travelling. I also love animals, and have experience with pets too.

Experience

The main reason I want to be an au pair or a tutor is because I love learning about new languages and cultures. I think it’s a great opportunity to grow as a person and figure out more about myself. I’ve always enjoyed spending time with kids, so I feel that taking care of them and teaching them would be a fun way to start gaining work experience.
I also see it as a chance to improve my language skills by being in a real-life environment and fully immersing myself in a new culture.
