Andrea (22 / Ms. ), Spanish, Unemployed living in Spain looking for Au Pair job in USA for 10-12 Months

My name is Andrea López, I am 22 years old and I live in Zaragoza with my mother, Yolanda, who works in a bar, and my father, Cesar, who works as a construction manager. I have an older sister called Dayana, who is 24 years old. We are a very close, sociable and communicative family. My family is very big and I love it. My mother has three sisters and two brothers, and my father has two sisters and three brothers, so I have many uncles, aunts and cousins. I love children and I have always looked after my little cousins ​​while my uncles were working, preparing their food, helping them with their homework, playing and doing crafts together or going to the swimming pool. I have always been surrounded by them.
When I finished high school, I decided to study Criminology in Barcelona. For me, it was one of the most important decisions of my life. Living away from home has taught me to value many things, to be much more responsible than I was before I left and to mature as a person. I think it was a very good opportunity to learn more about myself and it was for me. I have always been very active and hard-working, so I tried to help at home combining my studies with different jobs while living away from home, returning to Zaragoza in the summer to take care of children. I love working with children because they know how to bring out the best in me and I try to teach them to do their best. It is a very rewarding job.
