My name is Elisa, I’m 27 years old and originally from Spain. I recently graduated with First Class Honours in Law and International Relations from the University of Portsmouth in the UK, and I’m now looking forward to the opportunity to continue my journey as an au pair in a French-speaking country. My goal is to improve my French, discover a new culture, and become part of a kind and welcoming family environment.

Growing up in Spain, I was surrounded by a large and loving family — two sisters, one brother, and many cousins of all ages. From a young age, I naturally took on a caring role, especially with younger children. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience caring for children within my own family and also through working with families to support their children’s routines and homework. In addition, I had the opportunity to work as an assistant teacher at the University of Portsmouth, where I introduced students aged 11 to 16 to legal topics in a fun and accessible way. That experience deepened my passion for working with young people and helping them grow in confidence.

I would describe myself as calm, responsible, and warm-hearted. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children — playing, helping them learn, or simply being a reassuring and positive presence in their daily lives. I’m also independent and adaptable, having moved to the UK on my own at 18 and lived in different countries since then, including a year in Australia during university.

I believe I would be a great fit for your family because I bring not only experience and reliability, but also a sense of curiosity, kindness, and patience. I am excited to share my culture while learning from yours, and I’m committed to making this experience enriching and enjoyable for everyone.
