Dear Host Family,

My name is María Nene, although my friends prefer to call me Nene. I am 48 years old. I am a passionate, curious, and energetic person, with a deep desire to learn and grow in a multicultural environment. Since I was young, I have always had a special love for children; I enjoy their innocence, their sense of wonder, and their unique way of seeing the world. That's why I decided to embark on this wonderful adventure as an Au Pair. I also have two daughters! My oldest is about to finish college, and my second daughter is a teenager passionate about soccer. With this experience, I would like to help more families succeed.

My motivation to become an Au Pair stems from the opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture while contributing to the well-being and development of the little ones. I firmly believe that the experience of caring for children will not only allow me to share unforgettable moments with them, but also to learn about their cultural customs and traditions. I am excited about the possibility of being part of their daily lives, helping them in their personal and academic growth.

I believe the ideal family should host me because I am a responsible, reliable, and very adaptable person. I love cooking, playing, and learning alongside children, which allows me to create a fun, educational, and inclusive environment, as the little ones can always be accompanied by their pets. Additionally, I have previous experience caring for children of different ages, which has taught me the value of being patient and understanding of their needs. I am willing to help with household chores and collaborate in whatever is necessary to ensure a harmonious coexistence.

I consider myself qualified for this position not only because of my experience but also because of my education. My most recent degree is a Master's in Local Government and Management, which has provided me with valuable tools to better understand the development of different sectors in a small community, including the child population. I am a native Spanish speaker, and my English is becoming more fluent every day, which will allow me to communicate easily and help children improve their language skills if they so desire.
