Letter to the family
hello , my name is ibrahim , from syria .
I am currently living in Türkiye.
i am Assistant Engineer in Computer Technology .
I served in the army for six years.
But I am not good at using weapons and I did not participate in the war. My service in the army was administrative, and because I was not discharged from service and kept for six years, I decided to escape.
I got a computer technology teacher certificate in Syria, but I didn't get the chance to work as a teacher.
I am allergic to touching pets, I am fluent in simplified English, my hobby is working on the computer and watching movies.
I want to become a partner in the house with the elderly because I suffer from a problem in the skeleton, in the pelvis and legs as a result of an injury I sustained when I was a child. I received treatment through friends in the army, but I did not complete my treatment completely.
Here in Turkey, I do not receive a monthly salary, nor medical care, and there is no resettlement program here. We are only allowed to stay in the country and rely on ourselves. I am forced to work 10 hours a day in order to buy food and pay for the necessities of life. Since I was injured when I was six years old, I felt that my whole body was broken and that I had reached retirement age. However, the Middle East is conservative, and I felt embarrassed for society to know that I was injured because of the issue of homosexuality. A child I was playing with when I was six years old stabbed me with a sharp object when we were playing homosexuality, and I was injured, and I thought he was playing, and I did not expect that he was trying to kill me.
Sorry to say that, but from my point of view as someone who has asked for all kinds of help from embassies, hospitals and relief organizations to no avail, I saw that it would be appropriate for me to apply for a job sharing accommodation with the elderly and providing care for them. I hope my words are not misunderstood. It is an honor for a person to provide care for the elderly, but from my point of view, I should work in an easy job that suits the tiring medical condition that I suffer from.
Finally, I am fluent in simple English and I know most of the English words found in computer programs and operating systems, but I cannot conduct an advanced English conversation, for example, I translated this article using Google Translate.
I can be a kind and gentle companion to the elderly, helping them in their daily lives. I can be like a son to them, because my family is in Syria, and I can be a friend to them because I am 35 years old.
My hobbies include cycling, PlayStation, and computer, and my dream is to be a YouTuber or TikToker. I got the yellow belt in judo, but I lost in the championship held in Homs due to the medical problem I suffer from.
I feel that I am qualified for this position because I have a certificate as a teacher in computer technology and I served in the army and the hardships that I went through in my life made me like an old man morally, perhaps I am qualified for this position because I was forced according to the routine that applies to people in the Middle East, I was forced to study and serve in the army and now I am a foreigner and work in Turkey for seven years while I am sick and did not receive the necessary treatment.
