Hello dear host family. My name is Daria, I come from a small republic in Russia, but now I live in the cultural capital - St. Petersburg. I'm 19 years old and this summer I graduated from college with a degree in tourism. Even during college I was thinking about what I would like to do in the future and the student practice helped me a lot. My job was to conduct guided tours for children and young people in the museum and actively help in conducting a creative master class for young children. The kids pick everything up so quickly and it's fun to teach them! I really liked how the young protégés looked at me with respect in their eyes and asked many questions. And since I'm a creative person, I've decided why not instill a love of creativity in little people, help them find themselves, or just find a new hobby.
I also really loved the German lessons at school and wanted to visit the German-speaking countries, see with my own eyes what is shown in the pictures in the textbooks. I want to get to know the culture from the inside, taste the national cuisine and immerse myself in the life of a new country. Please show me your beautiful country from all sides. The Au Pair program will help me live an unforgettable experience!
My character is quite simple, I am non-conflictual, calm and able to listen to my interlocutors. I'm also used to living alone, away from my family. I grew up in a family consisting of a loving mother and grandmother.
I was the only child so they always tried to give me the best.
In addition to the great studies at the high school, I had a lot of additional lessons. I've danced (from classical choreography to modern dance), sung in a folklore ensemble, learned to swim, played the flute and guitar, and studied at an art school. In the upper grades I took part in preparatory courses for Chinese at the university.
Nowadays I really enjoy reading books, learning English and doing all kinds of crafts. I like the creative process! I can knit dolls and crochet clothes, embroider a cross, make jewelry with my own hands and paint a little. And my life would not have been so beautiful without music.
