Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi!
We live in a family house in Gafanha da Encarnação, a calm zone between Aveiro and the beaches, surrounded by some forest and the lagoon, with plenty of space inside and outside. Aveiro city center is about 7 km away, and the ocean is about 3,5 km away (40 or 20 min bike ride, respectively). We drive to Aveiro city center every workday to bring and pick up the kids from school/kindergarten, and also on Saturday mornings to take them to hockey, so even if a car is needed to get around easily, we can provide a lift practically every day. There is a bus stop somewhere near but public transports don't work so well around here and we never use them, so I can't really tell. There are language schools in Aveiro. We have a bike that you can use to get around.

Job Description

As a family with 3 small kids without support from parents, we barely have time for ourselves, so this would be an assistant job in dealing with the kids, giving us a break sometimes to go out for dinner, movies, hobbies, etc. They have activities during the weekdays (kindergarten/school) even in the summer (except second half of august, but we will be on holidays together most of the time then), so the assistance will be most needed in the mornings (1 hour or so) and then at the end of the day (from about 18h till bedtime). In the weekends we spend time together and could use a hand too.

Accommodation

You would have your own bedroom, sharing a toilet/bathroom that is mostly used by the two older kids, and the rest of the house, which has plenty of space. We have a backyard where I recently set up a small greenhouse to grow some fruits and vegetables. There is wi-fi and many books also.
