Dear Future Au Pair,

Hello! We are the Xu family from Chengdu, and we are thrilled that you are reading this letter! We are a lively, warm, and fun-loving family of five, and we are excited about the possibility of sharing unforgettable moments with you. We are a friendly Chinese family with three wonderful children.

Our family includes three energetic and adorable little boys: twin brothers Eason and Owen, who are 7 years old, and their younger brother Ryan, who is 5. They are full of curiosity and love exploring new things. They are also very much looking forward to having a big sister join our family to play, learn, and grow together. Dad runs his own company and, while busy with work, always makes time for family. Mom is a homemaker who takes care of the children’s daily needs and enjoys cooking and gardening. Our family loves traveling together—on weekends, we often visit nearby parks, museums, or go on outings, and during longer holidays, we plan trips to farther destinations. Last year, we visited Zhuhai, Xinjiang, and Hainan, and the children still talk about those adventures!

We previously hosted an au pair who lived with us for a year and became a cherished part of our family. The children adored her, and we were sad to see her leave on March 15. However, we are now excited to welcome a new family member—you! We have prepared a cozy room with a private bathroom for you, hoping it will make you feel comfortable and at home.

As an au pair, you will be a valued member of our family, not just a helper. We hope you can spend time with the children, help them learn English (or another language), and in return, we would be delighted to help you improve your Chinese and learn more about Chinese culture. Job Description

We are looking for an outgoing, patient, and child-loving au pair. If you enjoy life and love spending time with children, we believe you will have a wonderful time here with us!

Your main responsibilities will include spending time with the children, helping them learn English (or another language), and in return, we will support you in learning Chinese. We will provide you with a private room and bathroom, as well as WiFi, to ensure you have a comfortable living environment.

Your working hours will primarily involve helping with taking the children to school in the morning and picking them up in the afternoon, as well as playing and studying with them in the evenings. On weekends, we would appreciate it if you could spend more time with the children. In addition, we would appreciate your help with some light household chores related to the children. When the children are at school, you will have free time, which we fully respect. You can use this time to explore the city, study, or make new friends!
