Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, my name is Sylvia. I hope this message finds you well. I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and the city we live. I am someone who is very easy to communicate with and get along with, and I believe this makes me a great person to be around.

We live in the center of the city Shenyang, and we have very good transportation nearby, bus and subway. My husband and I both graduated from the United State, so we are easy to communicate with. As an Au pair you are more likely to have a wonderful experience with us . I have very high standards for personal hygiene. Anyone that is neat and child-loving is welcome to contact me.

I am looking for a family member who can participate in the daily family event with us and in the meantime build a strong connection. Events that include family holiday, camping day, travel to other cities, trying different food…etc.

Interesting fact: I can speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. I am willing to teach you if you like. I also want to learn an additional language from you!:)

Job Description

For au pair:
1. Teach my kid English. (Singing and dancing, reading books and playing board game etc.)
2. Clean up the children’s area with books and toys.
(We are pretty organized couple. I hope to have someone organized)
3. Take my kid out for a walk, read her bedtime’s story, watch her sleep or pick her from the daycare center when needed.

Rules au pair should follow:
1. Take mandarin classes. Learn about Chinese culture.
2. Au pair should be back by 10 every evening. Cause that’s the time most places are closed. (Safety if the first priority)
3. Be neat. Always keep your own room clean.
4. Loud noise is not allowed at home. (The building policy)
