Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Caregiver
I am a 68 year old male with Multiple Sclerosis which I have had for 25 years. I am in a wheelchair 100% of the time and I need help getting up in the morning and going to bed at night.
My wife and I live in a beautiful village in Oxfordshire, Little Wittenham, 5 miles from the nearest small towns: Abingdon, Didcot and Wallingford and 12 miles from Oxford.
I require 45 minutes help in the morning and about 1 hour in the evening and possibly some help with meals during the day. You would be free to go out to classes or other work during the day with prior arrangement.
We provide accommodation; a double bedroom with private bathroom and a small kitchen for your use. There is a car for you to use if you don't have one of your own but this would be by arrangement as insurance would have to be arranged.
The house has very good internet usually 75+ mbs and there is a tv in the bedroom.
The village is very small but is surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely walks in a nature reserve and along the river Thames which is a short walk away.

Job Description

the main jobs on a normal day are to get me up at about 8am this normally takes less than half an hour and put me to bed in the evening at about 9.30pm this takes less than half an hour but can take longer when my wife is away.
If my wife is busy I would need some help with meal preparation but this varies from day to day and would depend on your other plans.
My illness is progressive so the amount of care will probably increase slightly over the next year.
