Welcome to the Gamra family! We are so happy and excited to have you joining us and becoming a part of our lives. We know this will be a special experience for you and for us, and we’re looking forward to everything we'll share together.

Our Location
We live in Acworth, Georgia, a family-friendly town with parks, playgrounds, and great communities. It’s a peaceful suburb with easy access to larger cities like Atlanta, which is about 40 minutes away and has lots to explore. There’s a language school nearby called Kennesaw State University's Intensive English Program, which many au pairs and international students attend. We’ll be happy to help you get registered and connected there if you’re interested in taking language classes.

We want you to feel at home here. You’ll have your own space, time to yourself, and we’ll respect your privacy while also including you in our family life. Open communication is very important to us, and we want to make sure you always feel comfortable sharing your thoughts or asking questions.

Job Description

Child Care Expectations
As our au pair, your main focus will be helping us care for the children. This includes:

Assisting with morning routines and getting the kids ready for the day

Supervising playtime, both indoors and outdoors

Helping prepare simple meals and snacks for the children

Assisting with nap times and bedtime routines

Attending activities like swimming or soccer practice when needed

Helping keep their play areas and belongings organized

We’re looking for someone who is warm, responsible, and patient—someone who truly enjoys spending time with children. Creativity, flexibility, and a sense of humor will go a long way in our busy household!

During your stay with us, you’ll have your own private bedroom and a separate bathroom for your personal use. Our home has WiFi throughout, so you’ll be able to stay connected with your family and friends back home. We will also provide you with access to a vehicle for your use, both for child-related responsibilities and personal errands or outings during your time off. We want you to feel comfortable, supported, and at home here, and we hope your space will be a peaceful retreat where you can relax and recharge.
