Dear au pair,
We are a family of rural origin. Our family consists of a mother, father, two girls ages 14 and 7, and a super affectionate Labrador retriever. We have an apartment in a town of 6,000 inhabitants, in inland Catalonia, where we live year-round. We also have an apartment in the Salou area (Costa Brava), near Portaventura, among other places. We are looking for a girl who can stay with the girls for the two summer months in the apartment in Salou, which is located in a private complex of different apartments with a pool. They are independent, well-behaved, and obedient girls, but we want to improve their English (especially for the oldest). On weekends, the mother will be with you, and during the week, you will be with the girls (although you will share some days with the mother or father). What we need is a girl who will be with them all day, collaborate with them, speak English most of the time, and know how to prepare basic meals, so she and her oldest daughter can cook together. The schedule would be 24 hours, Monday through Friday until sunset, to be with the girls and participate in various activities. On weekends, she would be available to them, allowing them to have them free or stay with the family. A basic level of Spanish is valued to be able to clarify unintelligible words in English conversations.
