Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Greetings dear Au Pair!

Welcome to our family! We are a very united family of four. We live in a small beach town Aguadilla, known for its surfing activity. It’s located on the further most west side of the island of Puerto Rico. We live in a neighborhood that lies on a main highway on which there are many restaurants and grocery store. This town has a big diversity of locals and foreigners living together enjoying the beautiful beaches and green, lush tropical paradise.

Job Description

The main job of the au pair is to be the strong support for myself the mama. The main focus for the moment will be to engage with my 2.5 year old with pre planned activities, crafts, cooking meals, outdoor time, taking care of Zazil and both children’s items. Including their laundry, cleaning and organizing their room and play area or any material related to the children. I am looking for someone that has basic to advanced cooking skills as I want them to have a weekly activity of cooking/ baking together. Obviously au pair is required to clean up after herself and children. Must be a swimmer and feel confident in the water with children. I need a person that is able to respond to the needs of my children in an intuitive, logical and quick way. Attention to detail is a required, must be open and able to communicate on a regular basis with mama to work together at times or on your own. I am looking for a creative person that enjoys crafting or has an artistic focus. As well as active person that likes to be healthy and be outdoors. I am looking for a positive person that has a healthy, happy disposition and mindset about life. I need a person that is well organized and structured and brings their best to the family.

Accommodation

Our Au Pair has their private quarters, a room and bathroom, in the upstairs part of the house that we don’t live in. There is a kitchenette upstairs as well that au pair could use for herself if she wishes. We have WiFi and phone included.
