Job Description

We are looking for someone responsible and trustworthy that can look after our daughters while we’re working on our businesses or wanting some private time.
Our ideal au pair is someone who is looking to learn into Icelandic culture more, including the language, someone who is focusing on child development and holds traditional values. Our children are participating in extra activities outside of school both in Reykjavik and Akranes.
We live 40 minutes away from Reykjavík in a town called Akranes.

Our oldest child is currently going to second grade and she needs extra help with school/homework. Day to day would include taking care of the younger child throughout the morning, in the afternoon/night helping both parents take care of the family.

We have a extra storage room converted into an office/guestroom and two overhead cabinets with one window. Offering free WiFi, we have a washer, we don’t believe in dryers, all our clothes is naturally dried outside. We always keep healthy stock of food, no processed food.
