Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello the future family member!
We are a young family of three with dad Giordano (31 yrs), mum Angela (31 yrs), and our baby Gabriele, born in October 2024. We live in a little village called Albinea on the hills of Reggio Emilia, in a wide house with a big garden, where it is often possible to see wild animals.
We’re looking for someone who, during our working week, will take care of our baby Gabriele in the afternoon, play with him, and speak English.
We know this is a unique opportunity for both you and us, an incredible chance for our child to learn English while sharing smiles and laughter.
If you wish, we will do all we can during your stay to help you improve your Italian and explore Italy during your free time.

About our city:
We live in the countryside of Reggio Emilia, in a little village on the hills called Albinea. Nearby the village it's possible to hike and ride a bike on the hills. The city center of Reggio Emilia is 15 minutes away by car from the house. We are happy to share our car with the au pair. Our city is very famous for cheese Parmigiano Reggiano and in general for the good cooking. An hour away there is Pietra di Bismantova, which is famous for climbing and hiking.

Job Description

We usually work until 6 pm from Monday to Friday, so we need help to take care of Gabriele during the working week.
The au pair will have to pick up Gabriele from daycare at 1:30 p.m., play with him during the afternoon, and speak to him in English. You can also do outdoor activities in our large garden or take him for walks around the house.
We ask that the au pair take care of the child by changing his nappies during the day and giving him a snack. We want the au pair to make sure the child is always safe when in his care.
The au pair could cook the lunch by yourself and share the dinner with us.

We live in a wide house with a big garden, where it is often possible to see wild animals. Our house is on one floor and is very bright because of the many windows.
The au pair will stay in a bedroom with queen-size bed. The bathroom will be shared with the family.
