Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear au-pair,

We are a family of 4 and we live in Alcover, a town located one hour from Barcelona and 20 minutes from Tarragona. It is a very quiet, family-oriented town, where life is good. We would like to host an au-pair to have some help with our youngest daughter Carla, who is 11 years old. She is quite independent, but she still needs someone to be with her to accompany her and pick her up from school or be with her when we are working. We think it is a very good opportunity for her to learn English while being well accompanied.

Job Description

We are looking for an au pair who will basically take care of our 11-year-old daughter, Carla. She knows a little English and is quite independent, but she needs someone who can accompany her to school or be with her when we are working, at lunchtime and for a while in the afternoon. We think this is a good way for her to learn English easily and naturally.

Accommodation

We have been living in a new house for a year now, in a quiet area, five minutes walk from the centre of the village. It is big enough for the 4 of us, bright and cosy. Outside we have a garden, with a small pool in summer and a barbecue. We have a large, individual room for our au-pair. We like to keep the house tidy and we try to help out with the cleaning. We have a garage for the car, the bikes, etc. So if you like to ride a bike you can have one whenever you want!
