Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We value cultural exchange and believe it would be a unique and enriching experience for both our family and the au pair or a nanny. Having an au pair would provide our children with exposure to a different culture, language, and perspective, fostering an environment of learning and open-mindedness. Additionally, having an extra helping hand to assist with childcare would support our family's daily routines and create more quality time for us to share meaningful moments together.
Arrival Day: Greet warmly, give a home tour, and show them their room and essentials.
Introduce Routines: Explain daily schedules, especially for Glenn and Olivia, and give insights into their personalities.
Family Outing: Host a family dinner or outing to help them feel included. Halloween parade, and any local festival.

Job Description

Infant Care (4-Month-Old Baby)
Feeding: Prepare and bottle-feed formula or breast milk, assist with solids.
Diapering: Change diapers regularly.
Sleep Routine: Help establish nap and sleep schedules.
Soothing: Comfort and calm the baby when needed.
Health Monitoring: Observe for illness and administer medications if required.
Activities: Engage in age-appropriate stimulation (e.g., tummy time).
Hygiene: Clean bottles, pacifiers, and baby laundry.
Childcare for 6-Year-Old
Playtime: Supervise and engage in age-appropriate activities.
Schoolwork: Help with homework and projects.
Meals: Prepare simple meals and snacks.
Bedtime: Assist with bedtime routine.
Safety: Ensure the child’s safety during activities.
General Household Support
Light Housework: Clean up after meals, organize play areas, assist with laundry.
Occasional Errands: Run errands for baby supplies or child-related needs.
Required Skills
Experience with infants and children.
Patient, energetic, and flexible personality.
Basic first aid/CPR knowledge (preferred).
