Work abroad in Laura's family for 6-12 Months starting from Aug 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 1 - 5 years old in Alzenau, Bavaria Germany

It is important to us that you speak at least A2 German. Our children are learning to speak better and better and we would like to communicate only in German from the start.

In the two years as a host family, we have a number of tasks that our au pair has taken on permanently. We would like you, as our new au pair, to take on these tasks as well.

On working days (Monday to Friday), the children are in kindergarten. In the morning, you would get up with the children and help them have breakfast and get ready for kindergarten.

While the children are in kindergarten, you would have time for yourself.

In the afternoon, you would look after the children and play with them. Here it is important that you are creative and think up new tasks, games or activities. Our children are very curious and do not like boring or monotonous entertainment at all. Both children like to go to playgrounds. We have a few in our area.
You put the children to bed one or two evenings. Of course, you have to practice this beforehand so that they trust you.
So that my husband and I can do something without the children in the evenings, babysitting is one of your tasks from time to time.
The weekends are very different. We are always happy when you accompany us on trips with the family and on activities.

Small household chores are also part of your tasks. Loading the dishwasher, taking out the trash, washing and hanging up the children's laundry and occasionally helping to clean the apartment (dusting). It would be a great quality of yours if you can "see" work and volunteer to help us with small tasks around the house.

We would like you to experience great adventures in and around our house with our children or to accompany us on trips with the children. This requires patience, creativity and empathy, because the little one is really very active, smart and lively.
Ideally, you can pick up our children from kindergarten in the afternoon.

It is very important to us that you support our parenting model. We raise our children in a very needs-oriented way and do not want to force our children into any mental boxes. For example, if our daughter likes to play with cars and excavators and wears blue, that is fine. She does not have to only play with dolls.
