Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!

We are a family of 4: i'm french, my husband is indian and we have 2 kids.
Eashan is the eldest, he is a boy of 5yrs old very energetic who loves books, puzzles, crafting and of course dancing and running around. Saheli is the second one, she is 3years old, she likes playing with dolls, writing and drawing!

We stay in France, in Paris. We have stayed in India and in the Netherlands before. We are very open to new culture. We have already had 2 au pairs before.

We also have a cat, she is named Jeera (cumin in hindi).
My husband and i speak english, i speak french and english to the kids and my husband speak hindi to them.

Job Description

Eashan and Saheli go to french school which is walkable from our house on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8h30 to 16h30. In addition, Eashan goes to a English school on Tuesday Morning and Friday afternoon. The english school is 30min drive from home. We have a nanny driving Eashan to school now.

We are looking for an au pair to take care of the children afterschool from 16h30 to 19h: picking them up from school, giving them bath, preparing dinner, playing with them. We usually have dinner all together at 19h15 - 19h30 when we come back from office. The kids sleeps at 8:30pm.

In addition, the au pair will need to give Eashan lunch on Tuesday and bring him back to french school at 13h30 and the au pair will have to keep the kids all the day on Wednesday from 8h15 to 19h. The other chores that we would expect from the au pair is to fold and arrange the clothes (once a week) and keep the house tidy after playing with the kids or giving them lunch/dinner.

My husband and I travel quite a lot for work. We would need the au pair to be flexible to keep the kids longer one day and shorter another day when we would be at home.

Saturday and Sunday are the days off.

Accommodation

We would love to welcome you in our home. A 2 floors house with a garden located 8min walk from metro where you can be to Paris city center in 15min. We have a room on the second floor which will be dedicated for you we share the bathroom for the family.
