Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of 5, living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Our daughter Laura is almost an adult and is independent - she does not need any care from our au pair. We have 2 youngher children, Hugo (2016) and Ruben (2018). The parents of the family both work full-time in serious jobs, but usually "from 9 to 5". Our au pair lives in our house in a separate room, and works max 30 hours per week. We pay the maximum compensation allowed by the Dutch government and offer good living conditions, holidays and beside that, we are a nice family to have a joyful and learningful year with! We prefer an au pair from Indonesia between 21-24 (max age is 24 in NL).

Job Description

Our au pair lives in our house in a separate room, and works max 30 hours per week. She helps in the morning getting the boys ready for school. Most of the times, one of the parents pick up the boys from school; sometimes the au pair does. The au pair helps in the afternoon and may prepare dinner for the boys. Also, the au pair helps in the household (as we all do) but is not the main cleaning lady - we have weekly cleaning ladies.

We pay the maximum compensation allowed by the Dutch government and offer good living conditions, holidays and beside that, we are a nice family to have a joyful and learningful year with! We prefer an au pair from Indonesia between 21-24 (max age is 24 in NL).
