We are a friendly and welcoming family from Greece, living in the heart of the historic town that serves as the capital of our beautiful island. Our home is surrounded by picturesque streets, local cafés, and cultural sites, offering a truly unique experience of island life.

As a popular tourist destination, our island has a lively atmosphere, and almost everyone speaks English. While there is no language school here, we can help arrange private lessons with an educator if needed. Transportation is also convenient, with the municipal bus terminal just a 15-minute walk from our home, making it easy to explore different parts of the island.

We are looking for a creative, cheerful, and energetic au pair to spend time with our child while we focus on our seasonal work. In return, we offer a warm and supportive environment where you can experience Greek culture, enjoy beautiful surroundings, and become part of our family.

Job Description

We are looking for an au pair who will enjoy a fun and active summer with our child. The role includes spending time together at the beach, going for swims, taking her to activities and summer camps, going for walks, and visiting friends and family. We would love someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and enjoys engaging with children in a creative and playful way. Basic cooking skills are a plus, as we would appreciate someone who can prepare simple vegetarian meals for kids—or is willing to learn. Household chores are not required, as we have another professional handling them; the focus will be solely on child-related tasks and ensuring our little one has a wonderful summer.

Accommodation

Accommodation for our au pair is in a private service room within our home. The room has a separate entrance for privacy but also connects to the rest of the house. It includes a bed, a small desk, a wardrobe, and a large window that lets in plenty of natural light. The room has its own bathroom with a shower, and there is a fridge available in the laundry area next to it. While the space is not very large, it is comfortable and functional. Our home also has WiFi, ensuring easy access to the internet for communication and entertainment.
