Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Greetings,

I am a recently divorced father who has a large 5 bedroom and three bathroom house in Milwaukie. The room where the Au par wil be living is in the downstairs portion and has a bathroom, full sized closet and a mini kitchen. There is a spa, pool table and walking trails all around. My nine year old boy is sweet and outgoing child. He loves people and is easy going.

I have been an electrician for several years like many dad and grandfather. I am a sixth generation Oregonian.

Thank you for your consideration, Jaxson and I look forward to finding the right fit for his day to day help. We need someone who is flexible since sometimes I work long days and sometimes I am off for a while, it depends upon the demand of my profession. My housemate also lives downstairs and is a working guy with a nice and friendly personality. We have lived together a few years, even when I was still married. He is a neat, clean, organized and gets along easy with others.

Job Description

Monday through Friday I may need you as early as 5:30 am although Jaxson will likely not awake until 7ish. I will be home between 3-4 pm. My work can keep me late but it is seldom and almost always weith notice. I am on rare occasion called to work out of town for a few days (once in my career I had to work 3 hours away from Monday morning to Thursday night. This has been largely discouraged since I have gotten custody of my son. We would appreciate flexibility, when I am off, like a job end you can use your free time. If I need someone though, I will ask for mroe help. We also will need some light cleaning, cooking, school work help, pick up anbd drop off from school and activities and maybe even custodial swaps.
