Work abroad in Jemma's family for 6-24 Months starting from May 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 1 children of 1 - 5 years old in Araluen, New South Wales Australia

We are a family of 3 located in Rural NSW, Australia. We live about 1.5hrs from Canberra and 1hr from the coast, on 9 acres. We have dogs, cats, sheep and chickens. We also have beautiful kangaroos around our property that often sit outside the windows in your unit. I am a stay at home mum with a 3.5yr old. We are raising our child Montessori light. What we are hoping is for an au pair to join us in our daily activities. I would still be there most of the day. Once you are comfortable you would spend a lot of the day with our son on your own so he can focus on continuing to learn Mandarin. He currently speaks in only Mandarin with his Au pair.

We would want you to become a friend with us all. We would love if we could cook with you 1-2 times a week so we can learn some of your cuisine and culture but it’s not necessary. We live near a really lovely town which you can go to and we do day trips to Canberra, lots of museums and art galleries, we go to the Zoo often. We can’t wait to welcome someone into our family.

In addition, Jemma is also a very patient English teacher. She will teach me more authentic spoken expressions, recommend good movies and cook delicious meals.
The children and animals are very cute and surrounded by mountains. The days at Jemma's house are very comfortable and happy. They treat me as a friend or family member. It doesn't feel like work. I would recommend anyone who likes to get along with children to become their home. Au pair~
