Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
Welcome to our profile. Our family consists of my husband Mike, our 5 year old son Teddy, and myself, Tausha. I am an engineer and Mike is a teacher. We live in Italy, but are originally from USA and are happy to help you learn English.
Teddy goes to school from 7am -2pm Another parent at the school drops him off near our house on her way home. The primary job of the Au Pair is to pick him up from the drop off area and watch him until my husband or myself get home. The hours would be no more that 2-6PM. In our house we speak English and are learning Italian. Teddy's understands and speaks Italian from going to school.
We live 1 km from Perarolo. It is 10km from our house to the city of Vicenza. We have a bus stop right at the top of our driveway.
We have enjoyed the Au pair program as it has added more members to our family who will still are connected with and visit. As experience host family we understand the needs of hosting and welcoming a new member of the family. We have had 8 Au pairs over the past 4 years and are looking forward to meeting you.
Job Description
We have had 8 Au Pairs over the past few years and can provide references. Upon request, we can send you our contract we've used with them. We like having au pairs because we get to add a new member to our family for a few months and get to experience a different culture. The au pair is welcome to come on vacations with us and play games in the evening. We still are in contact with our past au pairs.
