Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Greetings! I am so glad to have this website to connect with lovely people around the world! My name is Lisa and my husband is Eli. We have a 1.5 year old baby named Elizabeth who is so much fun, a true adventure baby. My family is from Italy and Argentina and my husband is from America with family from Germany and Poland.

We are a community family, we do a lot of volunteer work in our town and love people and traveling. I am a politician that works from home or at the capitol (if you google "Lisa for Colorado", you can find my website that talks more about me and my work). I do a lot of events in the community. I usually start working around 9 am and it end depending on the work and events for the day. My husband works from home and helps in the evening until bedtime with my daughter. We are a very friendly and casual home. We enjoy hosting people and I think you will feel welcome here.

We live close to everything, our city center is 15 minutes walking, the nearest park is 5 minutes walking, you can walk to the market or pharmacy is 15 minutes. We have a bike and a car you can use as well. We live right at the beginning of the rocky mountains. We love to go into the mountains for adventures in the summer and winter. We love animals too! We have an 8 year old yellow labrador dog and a few chickens on our property. We have a large garden that myself and our baby loves to be in. We hope you will join our family and help us with our baby while enjoying the experience of America!

She is a happy baby who loves to adventure. We have a large garden with chickens that she will visit every day. The home is very open and casual. We sometimes share meals and go on adventures together, usually in the mountains.

The property is open for the aupair to lounge on the patio, workout in our separate exercise room that has bikes, weights, yoga mats and everything needed to exercise. Our aupair enjoys produce from the garden and fresh eggs from our chickens. We live a short walk to our city center which has everything you need to enjoy a day. You can even take the train into Denver to explore.

Job Description

My daughter stays at home and she usually wakes up around 700. I play with her and feed her until about 8. She naps around 930. Our current aupair, who lives in a separate apartment on our property, usually comes over around 8 and stays until 4 which is when myself or my partner, Eli, takes over her care. When the baby naps, you can go to your own home in the back, it is not required you stay in the house when she is sleeping because the baby monitor works in the apartment the au pair lives in.

During the day, they play outside, walk to the city center, go to classes at the library, explore the garden and chickens, play with toys in the bedroom or downstairs play area, dance to music, and eat foods while watching someone cook. We have a loving Labrador dog who plays with our child and naps with her too.

Usually the au pair will come over to our home and spend time with Elizabeth here. There is no need to cook meals since I love cooking and always have some food ready for the family. The au pair would just need to help give her the food (she is currently using the spoon on her own!). We ask the au pair to help with our childs laundry and keeping the kitchen clean because our baby can make a mess when eating still. Other than that, we just hope they enjoy playing with her. There is a lot to do outside, there are parks and walking/biking trails only a few minutes walk from our house. We love having her listen to music and have books read to her. We do not like the use of screens and do not have a TV in our living room. Everything you need to care for her will be provided.

Accommodation

We have a separate home for the au pair to live in and its lovely! It is about 200 meters large. It has a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room and is filled with everything and anything you might need. There is laundry in the unit as well. There is an outside patio for you to enjoy next to the garden. There is wifi and a tv in there for you to enjoy as well.
