Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello potential au pair.

Help needed immediately! From January until may-july 2025. Please don’t contact me unless you are already in the US and available to begin asap! We had 3 au pairs in the past when our children were younger, all excellent. Right now we are mainly in need of afternoon transportation help getting our girls home from school and to afternoon activities, as one of us who has been working from home is now going back full time. I’m not sure au pair is the right option, due to our small needs and short term requirement, but we do have an extra room and loved the international connections for our kids with past au pairs. If you have a car, that would be ideal. Otherwise we will figure something out. Pay would depend on hours, the $150/week is a guess, with mostly hours between 3:30-6 pm M-F. Spanish, music, lifeguarding skills would all be great. Open to rematches.

Job Description

Meeting younger daughter when she bikes home from school at 3:30. Picking up older daughter at school at 4:30. Supervising homework, music practicing. Driving them to sports, music lessons, other activities some days. Possibly light cleaning and meal prep. One of us should be home by 6.
