Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi! We are looking for an Au Pair to join us on an adventure to Brisbane, Australia! We are Australians who currently live in Austin, Texas. We have decided to move to beautiful, sunny Brisbane, Australia and would love an Au Pair to join us in March or April. We would love to show you around and tell you all the great places to go. We are looking to have someone onboard soon, so if you have a passport and think we're a match, send us a mail or favorite us!

Job Description

One unusual aspect of this position is that you may go through the setting up house process with us - choosing furniture and exploring a new place to live!

I will be starting a new job. We are seeking an Au Pair help to care and prepare light meals for the kids and help keep things running smoothly. Mostly we would love the children to go and spend lots of time outdoors, go swimming (wading for them!) and play lots of games. They love arts and craft, but they mostly like to laugh and have fun.

We will help reimburse your travel costs in getting to Australia if you are going to be with us for six or more months. We will pay your return flight if you stay with us 10-12 months, which you CAN do with the 462 Visa if you're an Au Pair.

You would get 2 days off a week and 2 paid weeks off in a 12 month period. When we get time off to look after the kids you're welcome to take extra time off to explore! There are plenty of beautiful places to travel nearby, including the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, the Great Barrier Reef, and Byron Bay. Plus Brisbane is only a short flight away to other major centres like Sydney, Melbourne or Cairns.
