We are a family of five residing in the town of Baar in central Switzerland, with a population of approximately 25,000. Our location is conveniently situated just 30 minutes by train away from both Zurich and Lucerne, surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes including a lake, mountains, and forests.

Job Description

Responsibilities would include preparing simple lunches, taking care of the washing of clothes and ironing, assisting with homework (especially French), and accompanying the children to their extracurricular activities such as sports (swimming, biking & hiking) and music.

Ideally, our au pair would have an affinity for board games, particularly those that involve strategic thinking and friendly competition. Additionally, we value a candidate who appreciates outdoor activities like bike riding and is capable of managing the children's screen time.

The successful candidate should be dependable, approachable, and maintain a positive attitude, while also being comfortable becoming a part of our Swiss-German family dynamic.
