Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

My name is Tobias.
I am self-employed and have a 12-year-old daughter.

My daughter Emely attends a grammar school and is in the sports class there.

We both love going to music festivals and have many big plans that we like to put into action quickly. This isn't always easy for us, as many activities require a lot of preparation, and we sometimes find it challenging to manage everything on our own.

So, we are looking for support with everyday tasks, so we can devote more time to our activities and plans and enjoy them a bit more. Of course, we would include you in these activities.

All the tasks that come up for us are discussed and completed together. My daughter and I help with everything, and no one is left to do things alone. This way, we can all enjoy our free time together and get more out of our days.

At home, we speak both German and English.

We cook regularly and enjoy doing it, and we can gladly do it together. I am a trained chef and cook a lot.

We usually eat together.

Emely, who is 12 years old, attends grammar school and loves music and festivals.

We have a dog named Sunny and a cat named Carlo.

We are looking forward to welcoming an open-minded person who fits well with our way of life, and we hope that a friendship might also develop during this time.

Job Description

Your Job is it to become a valuable part of our small Famalie in the time to live with us:
For us it means that u understand what we want to achieve and help us with this.
On the other Site we are trying to help u with your achievements.

Here are some Tasks where we need help with, during im at work or Emely is at school:

- Prepare Food for Emelys School day (It is Simple Food and i will show you)
- Help keeping the Flat clean (In our Flat everything is arranged and its simple to keep it clean, its enough to clean our Flat every 10 - 14 Days)
- do the grocery shopping together with Emely (Most of our Daily Food we order Online, we only have to buy the fresh food in the Store)
- Give Food to our Dog and Cat (Normaly Emely is doing this but sometimes she is away)
- Plan some Activities (We try to do a lot of activities when we have free time and always need to prepare some things for it, this is fun and not much work, if u want u always can join for these activities)
- Help us with the Apartment (We are renting One Apartment in our House and have to Clean it 5-10 times in a Month, at the Moment im doing this with Emely together. In future we want to share the Work here)

On a normal day you have 4-6 Hours of easy but important work.

In return you get your own apartment with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, your own car if you want, access to our garden whenever you want, free internet, a laptop, a cell phone if you need one.
In addition, you will receive a payment so that you can live well here.
Here we would like to ask you to tell us what you expect in terms of payment.

If u want to learn German, Emely is a good teacher and also needs to learn and practice more english.
So she will help u learning German.

We also have a good network of friends here, if u want to, you will become a part of it.
