Pablo attends the extended school day early in the morning where he has breakfast. I drop him off at 7:30 a.m. Afterward, he attends the school cafeteria. I go to work until pick-up time at 4:30 p.m.
In the afternoons, we enjoy spending time in the park with school friends, visiting friends, or playing in the garden. It's very pleasant, including bike rides, etc. We have an early dinner between 7:30 and 8:00 p.m., then go for a swim and rest.

We are very excited about the arrival of an au pair in our home!
I think it could be a very productive symbiosis for the child, mainly due to the quality of life and language learning.
The au pair's primary role would be to take Pablo to school. I would be responsible for picking him up, and you could stay with him for the rest of the day. You will have the rest of the day for your training and learning, while I may also help with childcare for some time. I should pick him up sometime in the afternoon, as I occasionally have work meetings, which will be given advance notice so as not to interfere with your plans. You will need to help with household chores, which I currently do on my own without any problem.
During the summer school holidays, there will be periods when you will need to care for Pablo in the morning.
