We are so excited to welcome you into our little family of three! I’m Catalina, a single mum, business owner, and proud mother to two amazing kids—Cruze (8) and River Rose (3). Our home is warm, lively, and full of love, and we can’t wait for you to join us.

As a family, we adore spending time outdoors, especially when it involves water sports like paddleboarding and beach adventures. Living in Barry , Wales. we’re lucky to have access to beautiful coastal scenery walking distance from our front door, and we’re always up for exploring new places and making memories together.
Cardiff city is only a 10 minute drive or train ride away!

Your role here will be such an important one. Not only will you help with the kids, but you’ll also be a part of our everyday lives—sharing meals, laughter, and experiences with us. We value open communication, kindness, and teamwork, and we hope you’ll feel right at home.

Job Description

As our au pair, your role will primarily involve helping around the house and providing support with childcare, particularly on weekends. During the week, your main responsibilities will include assisting with household tasks like tidying up, light cleaning, and meal preparation to help keep things running smoothly. Since I handle all school drop-offs and pick-ups, your weekdays will typically be free from 7am to 4pm. This gives you plenty of time to relax, pursue your own interests, take classes, or explore the local area.

On weekends, your focus will shift to helping with childcare, ensuring Cruze and River Rose are engaged, safe, and having fun while I manage other responsibilities or take some personal time. Whether it’s playing with the kids, organizing activities, or supervising their routines, your support will be invaluable in creating a happy and balanced environment for everyone. We hope you’ll find the role rewarding and that it gives you the chance to enjoy both your responsibilities and personal time.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
• A love for children: We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids, is patient, and can engage them in fun and creative activities.
