Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of 4 living in the countryside in Alsace, close to the German and Swiss border. We’re looking forward to welcoming an au pair for June and July, for her to immerse herself into the French culture and immerse our kids into a new one.

Job Description

Caring for the kids, in June it will be mostly morning and after school, and for July we can discuss the arrangements, they usually go to (live-out) summer camps. Mostly play, DIY activities and including some English speaking.
In terms of household help, mostly a bit of meal prep and helping kids with keeping their rooms clean and tidy.

Accommodation

The au pair will have her own room including a bathroom. Wifi available. We also have a gym and a pool that she will be able to enjoy.
We live in a small village but can make a bike available. Its a 15min bike ride to the closest train station and then can easily reach Basel, Mulhouse, Colmar or Strasbourg. Few times a week, we drive to Basel and can take you with us.
If the au pair can drive, we can find some arrangements for a car.
