Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We are a family of five with two school-age children: Caspar is 15 years old and Clementine is 13 years. We have a third child, Casimir, who is 19 years and attending university.
Please note that we live in Switzerland, where some specific local aupair regulations apply: the aupair needs to be between 19 and 25 years old, and have a passport from one of the EU/EFTA states (Schengen). It is theoretically possible to have someone from non EU/EFTA states, but in that case the application must come from a Swiss aupair agency, and that is not a route we wish to take and not compatible with aupair.com anyway.
Since both parents are working full time, we are looking for an aupair to support the family.
We are from originally from Germany but we have an international background. The whole family speaks various languages (German, English, French).
We love hanging out with friends, playing board games, reading together, eating great home-cooked meals, talking with each other, watching a movie, and going on excursions, for instance to great gardens or museums in the vicinity.
Job Description
We are looking for a charming young lady who is open-minded, problem solving and shows initiative. We have in mind someone who is more of a teacher (homework supervision) and not a cleaning lady (we already have a cleaner!).
