Work abroad in Jen's family for 10-12 Months starting from Jan 2025 as an Au Pair and Nanny to take care of 2 children of 1 - 5 years old in Beerfelden, Hesse Germany

Au pair wanted!

We are looking for a new au pair for our family. We are Jennifer (37), Jan (36), Agnès & Heinz (3 years old).

You would be our 3rd au pair and your predecessors have left big shoes to fill. Heinz & Agnès are our twins. They are only 3 years old and still need a lot of attention and care when they are home from daycare. We have cats and we have dogs visiting from time to time. So you shouldn't have any problems with that.

We live in a small town in Hesse, so you shouldn't expect a big nightlife. It's rather quiet here. We live in the city center, but are still in the forest within 15 minutes. You can easily explore nature here, by bike or on foot. Beerfelden is definitely something for sports enthusiasts. There is a bike park, an extraordinary forest lake swimming pool in summer and great jogging routes. I really enjoy hiking ⛰ and maybe you'd like to join me on our tours. There are also lots of beautiful mountain bike routes that you can try out.

My parents also have a sauna and their own pool, which we often go to in the summer.

If you want to experience something, you can drive to Heidelberg in 50 minutes, or by train in about an hour. A driving license ? is desirable, as it makes you more independent.

We live in a big house ?.
You have your own room on the children's floor. There is also a bathroom with shower and toilet, which you share with the kids. The room is equipped with a bed, wardrobe, desk and TV. We have WiFi, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Alexa, Spotify and much more.

As the children are in daycare in the morning and so it wouldn't take 5 hours, I would like you to help around the house, such as vacuuming, tidying up the kitchen, etc.
You need strong nerves with twins and I won't always be there to help. Therefore, you should already have experience with 3-year-olds.

We already had 2 au pair girls and were very happy with the two previous ones. A former au pair lives around the corner from us and has become part of our family. Therefore, we would like another ambitious girl. We would like to take you into our family for a few months (max. 12 months) and show you German family life.

We are omnivores (??????) and you should be too, because we cannot take any sensitivities into account in everyday life.

We are open to every culture and way of life and you should be too, because in our family we combine three cultures
Requirements:

• at least 22 years old

• female

• at least A2 certificate in German; B1 is better!

• or you can speak English at least B1; better native speaker

• not afraid of dogs & cats

• not allergic to dogs & cats

• experience with kindergarten children

• you like living in a small town

• driving license (not a must, but extremely helpful)

• you are completely healthy (and not pregnant) and can prove this

I offer you:

• €280 pocket money

• €70 for your language course

• regulated and agreed working hours

• overtime is avoided as far as possible. If it does occur due to unforeseeable events, it is taken off.

• 2 vacation days per month

• Support with all bureaucratic matters
