Work abroad in Anton's family for 10-12 Months starting from Jan 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 1 - 5 years old & 6 - 10 years old in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia Germany

Dear au pair,

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves in this letter:
We are Anton (44), Sina (44), Clara (6) and Jakob (4) and we live in Cologne in Germany in a beautiful house with lots of space.

Who are we and what do we like to do?

Anton has been self-employed as an entrepreneur in the e-commerce sector all his life and I, Sina, am the financial manager at a large tea company. We both like to do sports, eat well and healthily and travel. Since last year we have had a holiday home in Croatia on the island of Brac, where we like to spend our free time.

What is important to us?

We are open, happy people who like to do things, we often have visitors and meet other friends and families. We like things to be tidy because we think that it helps us to relax better.

What can you expect from us?

Our children both go to kindergarten (daycare) from around 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The daycare is easy to reach by bike or bus. It would be great if you could take the children to daycare and pick them up again on some days of the week. It would also be great if you could help Sina with the weekly shopping. If you like cooking, we would also be happy to hear about your cooking skills, otherwise we have a Hello Fresh Box 4 days a week: these are dishes that you can choose in advance and then "only" have to cook according to the instructions. We would of course be happy if you would show us the cuisine of your home country, if you like that.

Otherwise, we would be happy if you would spend most of your time with the children. We live centrally, but quietly in the countryside in a beautiful house. We have a large garden with a swimming pool, and there is a large sandpit and a trampoline for the children. Jakob and Clara also like to go to playgrounds and read books or do crafts.

We have a cleaner who comes twice a week to clean. If you could help tidy up the children's rooms and fold the laundry, that would be great.

We would also be happy to show you German culture and the sights in Cologne and the surrounding area. You are very welcome to come with us and the children to our holiday home in Croatia.

In addition to a large room and a bathroom, you also have a bicycle at your disposal. If you have a driving license and want to drive a car, you are welcome to use our car.
