Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello,
we are Eva (39 years old), Christian (38), Janosch (9), Jim (nearly 5), Cosmo and Raya (both 1 year old).
We are an uncomplicated, humorous family and live on a beautiful farm in the middle of Germany, near Frankfurt. We would really like to take in an au pair because we are interested in cultural exchange (we have traveled a lot ourselves and have lived abroad several times) and would also like a little help with looking after our 4 children. It's less about big cleaning jobs and more about having fun with the children, maybe sometimes cooking something or doing some driving. The older children are at school and kindergarten in the mornings and the twins are at home with Eva during the day.

Our farm is something special because we live there together with other very nice people (in separate houses). In total we are 10 adults (between 26 and 39 years old) and 7 children (between 0 and 9 years old). For example, we grow vegetables together, look after the animals (7 sheep, 2 pigs, chicken, 2 cats, 1 dog) on the farm and eat dinner together once a week. There is also great nature around the farm, so you can go for a walk, hike or mountain bike.

We also have a big beautiful hall where we have yoga classes twice a week, take part in a documentary film Festival or host other nice events (e.g. concerts etc.).
And we celebrate a little music festival in July.

If it gets boring on the farm, you can drive to the surrounding towns (by car or bus), e.g. Gießen is great for a stroll around town, going to language school, eating a delicious meal or going to the theater or concerts. The beautiful city of Marburg is also nearby. Frankfurt is also quite easy to get to - either by car (50 minutes) or by bus and train.
