Work abroad in Jim's family for 6-12 Months starting from Jan 2023 as an Au Pair and Nanny to take care of 2 children of 1 - 5 years old in Bigfork, Montana USA

The needs of the family:

First I am an amputee and I have a prosthetic leg so I can get around. Sometimes I do have to be in my wheelchair so I need someone who is comfortable working with a disabled person. Sometimes I might have to ask you to do something time sensitive on the farm if I am unable to do it (Example: Water the horses, goats and donkey. Move horses out to pasture and/or bring them back in for the night) Another thing I might need help with is running errands for my business (picking something up from a store/dropping something off with someone) if I am unable to drive.

No experience with a disabled person is needed but you have to be willing to be adaptable. No experience with animals is needed but you have to be willing to learn how to care for the animals because it is a huge part of our life. Experience with driving is necessary.

Second I am a very involved father. I have 50/50 custody split with their mother. I am only looking for an Au Pair to work in my home (the mother has adequate childcare while the girls are with her). I love spending time with my daughters and so I am really just looking for someone to be able to fill in where I need help (Examples: Helping keep the house tidy, if I am in my wheel chair and the girls want to run around outside I need someone to be able to be out there with them).Sometimes I have to work in the morning starting at 7am until about 1pm and then I am free to spend time with my daughters for the rest of the day. Sometimes I don't have to work at all but I will need to complete projects on the ranch and would need you spend time with the girls. I am looking for someone who is flexible and able to adapt. Communication if very important and so checking in about the day and planning for the next day is something I would require we do daily in order for everything to run smoothly. I live by the Montessori philosophy/ parenting style for my children. Its important to me that I tune into what the girls are feeling and what they are interested in doing. We also have daily chores that the girls contribute to. The girls clean up their messes (not perfectly so you would have to help with that).

I am not looking for an Au Pair to raise my children, I want an Au Pair to be a positive female role model that my girls can look up to. I am hoping to find someone who is willing to work 30 hours a week (about 25 with my daughters and about 5 hours with chores on farm/running errands for family) If you are willing to work closer to 40 hours each week we can discuss higher pay.
