Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
Originally translated from Español
Hello!
Delighted! We're Bea, Rodri, and Maia, a lovely 4-year-old girl. Maia is a very sociable girl, loves learning new things, enjoys playing, painting, and dancing. She goes to preschool Monday through Friday, and in our free time, we enjoy traveling with our family, going out to lunch or dinner, enjoying the beach, or hiking in the mountains. We also take advantage of trips by plane or car to enjoy the beautiful weather we have in Spain. Our city is very welcoming, and the cuisine is fantastic.
We're looking for a responsible, sociable, tidy, and clean person who loves children to help us with Maia on a daily basis. Her responsibilities will vary depending on our work, but they won't go beyond accompanying/picking her up from school, spending time playing in the park or at home, and helping us bathe her, feed her dinner, and put her to bed. We'd also like her to share daily tasks with us, such as helping us with some household chores or even cooking your favorite dish.
If you choose us as your host family, we will offer you quality leisure time, a great language exchange program, and flexible days off so you can enjoy time with us or on your own. And of course, we will show you the beauty of our culture and our country. We live in a three-story house with a small garden. We offer you a room with a king-size bed, a large closet, and a bathroom that you will share with Maia. A bus stop is just a few meters from the house that takes you to the city center, where you can visit famous museums and enjoy our renowned cuisine.
Our home is spacious with large bedrooms and different areas, a small garden, and is very close to nature.
You can enjoy walks in the mountains or explore the city. We have a gym nearby. We are looking for a flexible, organized, and family-oriented person. Our schedules are not always the same, although we maintain a consistent routine. Our au pair will work 4-5 days a week, depending on our work schedule, and will have two or three days off.
The job will consist of accompanying or picking up Maia from school, playing with her, accompanying her to the park, enjoying her free time, reading her stories, helping us with our daily routines, and exchanging English/Spanish knowledge.
We travel occasionally and would love for you to do so with us.
We will try to give the au pair as much free time as possible on weekends, but this won't always be possible due to our schedules.
We both speak English and are looking for someone who is a native English speaker or has a good level of fluency so they can teach Maia the language while they play together as sisters. Basically, we want the au pair to become a member of our family and share time with Maia and us.
We will be happy to teach you the Spanish language and culture and make you feel at home.
